How We Met
Aaron and Desiree first crossed paths at Food Lion in 2015, both working their very first jobs at the ages of 15 and 16. From the moment they met, they instantly became best friends, spending countless hours together and creating memories over the years. In 2021, after years of friendship, their bond deepened and they began dating, starting the next chapter of their story together.
The Proposal
On our third anniversary, March 30th, 2024, Aaron took Desiree to a special dinner at a cowboy Brazilian restaurant in Hilton Head. After a delicious meal, the night took a sweet turn when dessert arrived. To Desiree’s surprise, the kitchen staff had placed the engagement ring on her dessert plate, along with the words, “Will you marry me?” Overwhelmed with joy, Desiree said yes without hesitation, marking the beginning of this beautiful new chapter in our lives together. It was a perfect, unforgettable moment to celebrate our love.
Aaron and Desiree met in 2015 while working their first jobs at Food Lion and quickly became best friends. Over the years, they’ve celebrated graduations, started careers, and stayed close. They have been inseparable for almost 10 years. Desiree works in banking and also runs a graphic design business, creating websites like this one. Aaron is a commercial truck driver, and together, they’ve traveled the United States. Their favorite trips have included Las Vegas, a famous New Year’s tour, road trips, and attending professional football and basketball games.
